Compliance Status

This website is partially compliant with the applicable legal requirements on accessibility.
Details are listed below.

Non-accessible Content

The following content is not compliant with the relevant accessibility legislation:

  • Internal scroll links without static targets (slider and magazine navigation).
  • Tab sections with dynamically generated target IDs.
  • Automatically playing background videos without informational content.
  • Automatically generated blog previews with duplicate or missing alt text.
  • Redundant links (e.g., featured image and title linking to the same target page).
  • Justified text in blog modules without configuration options.
  • Navigation icons without visible or programmatically determinable link text
(previous/next buttons, slider arrows, scroll-down and scroll-to-top buttons).
  • Email icon links in the team module without meaningful text or aria labels.
  • Incomplete or system-restricted semantic structure
(heading hierarchy in the timeline module, form labeling in the contact form).

Disproportionate Burden

The following elements cannot be made fully accessible because doing so would constitute a disproportionate burden:

Achieving full compliance for all listed items would require deep template or theme
modifications to the Enfold theme used. This would exceed the budget and scope of this
project-focused informational website. The usability and access to key content are not
significantly impaired.

Accessible Alternatives

For non-accessible content, we offer the following accessible alternatives:

  • Font size and contrast adjustments are available to improve readability.
  • PDF documents published on the website are provided in an accessible format
(alternative texts, logical structure) or are being updated progressively.

Evaluation Method

This accessibility statement is based on a tool-supported self-assessment using Lighthouse,
axe DevTools and WAVE. In addition, selective manual tests (including keyboard navigation and screen reader checks) were conducted.

Enforcement Procedure

If you believe that you are disadvantaged due to insufficient accessibility of our website, you can contact the responsible enforcement body:
